Choo - Chooing to a birthday party

Who could resist this little train coming to your birthday party!

Marie Antoinette visits the Spa

I have been majorly remiss at blogging here...just been busy, busy, busy! I thought I would post this picture of a couple of lollicakes I did because they turned out so darn cute! I think they need a montage of Marie Antoinette's day...it's the day of the ball - first Marie visits the spa...then she slips into her bustier - please note her heart tattoo...and then she dresses for the ball. I believe we heard her words, "Let them eat lollicakes..." as she descended the stairs into the ballroom!

Cupcake Saying Signs

A couple of years ago, I came up with some famous movie quotes that obviously were misquoted because they didn't have the word "cupcake" in them.  We decided to have some of them created on signs for The Bagel Bakery and Cupcake Shoppe.  The site Just Too Cute, Inc. that creates metal signs loved the idea so they got busy for us.  The signs say "If you bake it, he will come" "I'll get you, my pretty, and your little cupcake too" "Face it girls, I'm older and I have more cupcakes" "Cupcake is the new black" "You had me at cupcake" "Boys are stupid, throw cupcakes at them" "Team Edward? Team Jacob? Team Cupcake!" "Nobody puts cupcake in the corner" "Frankly, my dear - I just want a cupcake" and "Show me the cupcake." They also did cupcake dangles for your Christmas tree or just to hang up anywhere because they are adorable and you want one or two...or all of them!!!

Cupcake Ornaments

Last year, Bake It Pretty posted on her site directions to make these super cute cupcake ornaments.  We decided to make some for sale at The Bagel Bakery and Cupcake Shoppe - so after an evening of a few Pear Vodka martinis...ta-dah!!! Beautiful...

Old MacDonald's Farm Lollicakes

Caden is turning one and Mom and Dad wanted a farm theme...so with the help of Bakerella's new book Cake Pops and some of my own wild imagination and creativity - Caden is going to be e-i-e-i-o-ing his birthday bash!

Toy Story Lollicakes

I've been wanting to take Kailyn to see Toy Story 3 but so far we haven't made it there - I guess we will be seeing it on DVD now. The next best thing to seeing it though? How about making some Toy Story Lollicakes. Bakerella posted some adorable Toy Story cupcake pops - check out her sight on how to make them - so I tried them out for an upcoming birthday. I wasn't too thrilled with my Hamm Lollicake...but Mr. Potatoe Head made up for him! You have to work fast on putting him together though because there is so much to put on him...as I made him, I kept getting images of Cliff from Cheers (he was the voice of Hamm). All in all...I would say Woody and Buzz might just get a little jealous that there aren't Lollicakes of them!
